SPY TIME

1: The Meeting
One day after lunch, Zoe Zip the tabby cat sat on her warm, sunny porch waiting for her monkey friend Bo and her Martian friend Tommy to arrive. They were going to have a important meeting. She had called and told them to arrive at one o’clock, but they still hadn’t showed up yet.
Zoe wondered to herself, Did they forget to come, or are they just coming late?
Suddenly she saw Bo and Tommy running to her in their black pants, shirts, and sunglasses, almost tripping on the sidewalk in excitement.
“Zoe!” they yelled breathlessly. “We made the COOLEST gadget ever! A spy gadget for tracking people!”
They sat on the porch with Zoe to catch their breath.
Zoe asked, “Where’s the gadget?”
Bo, still panting from the run, answered, “I gave it to Dad so he could make copies of it.”
Tommy said, “I left a message, reminding you to wear your black clothes. But you aren’t wearing black.”
Zoe raised her eyebrows. “You did?” she asked.
“Yup.” Tommy replied.
“Oh, well,” said Zoe looking at herself. “I’ll go change now.”
Bo and Tommy followed her inside the house and drank cherry limeade while Zoe changed in her room.
“Can you guys be quiet for a while?” she told them after she was done, "I don’t want Za and Zi to wake up. They’ll want to come with us and if I say no, they’ll cry and Mom will tell me to take them with us.”
Bo and Tommy nodded. Za and Zi were Zoe’s younger twin brother and sister.
When Tommy and Bo were done drinking, they silently followed Zoe out of the door and into the hot sun. They sat on the spongy green grass and their meeting started.
“First, we need to go see Adventure Bear.” Bo began.
“Next, we ask for the mission.” Zoe added.
“Last, we get our gadgets from Mr. Bann.” Tommy finished.
Zoe stood up and said, "Well then, let's start!"
So she, Bo, and Tommy walked down the street to AB’s house. Bo knocked on the door.
The door opened. "Come on in guys." said AB.
Zoe, Bo, and Tommy strolled in.
"Hi AB. What’s our mission?” asked Tommy.
“Your mission is to find my special green orb in the Land of Doom. Go to Spy Airlines to begin.” He handed Bo a map. “Be off with you!” he said, “But please be careful. Finish before nightfall.”

2: The Land of Doom
It was a fine afternoon when the three walked out.
"Let's go to Spy Airlines now." Zoe said.

"Wait!" said Tommy, "We have to get our gadgets!"

Bo nodded.

"You guys wait here while I get them." said Tommy. So Tommy flew off to Bo's house and within minutes, he had got the gadgets and was on his way back to Zoe's house, since she and Bo lived on the same street. Tommy's house was just a little farther away from Zoe and Bo's houses.

"Guys, I'm back. " said Tommy.

Everybody slipped their gadget in their pants pockets. Then the three hurried off to Spy Airlines. Bo paid for the ride, then he and his friends boarded the plane and sat down. The plane took off.

Zoe peered out of the window. She saw a glowing green ball the size of a car's wheel, perched on top of a tree.

“Look!” she said. “I see AB’s orb!”

Bo and Tommy pressed their noses against the window.

“Oooh,” they marveled.

“It’s so big though,” Zoe said.

“Oh, but I’m strong, aren’t I?” Bo bragged. He chuckled. Tommy and Zoe poked him.

There was a sudden RUMBLE, and the plane began to tilt forward.

“We’re here!” Tommy breathed. “Whoa!”

The plane slowed as it approached the Land of Doom. It was dark and rainy. Zoe couldn't see clearly. There was faint sunlight in the distance.

“Well, let’s go!” Bo said, finally. Rain pattered heavily as the three pre-spies walked feebly out of the plane. They had only walked a short distance, until Tommy urged his friends to stop.

“Now, where’s that orb?” Tommy looked around.

“Use your power!” Zoe suggested.

Tommy put out his hand and a ray shot out. He positioned his hand on his head and big blue beam enclosed him.

“See you later, alligators!” he yelled.

“In a while, crocodile!” Zoe and Bo called back.

Inside Tommy’s beam, he ran to a nearby keyboard and hit the ‘find’ button. On the screen, there was a search box. It said, 'Find what?'

Tommy typed, 'AB’s orb’.

Suddenly his ray started to revolve around him. Faster, even faster and then, silence. With his hand still on his head, Tommy ballooned the ray in his mouth.

He looked around frantically and found out he was in a dark room.

He dragged his hand against a nearby wall. All of a sudden the wall began to quiver. The wall opened, illuminating AB’s orb in a gleaming green light! Tommy grasped the orb tightly. This may be big, but it’s only as light as a feather! he thought.

He transported back to Zoe and Bo.

“Wow.” they marveled.

“But wait,” said Bo. "It can't be that easy. Have we failed on our mission?"

3: The Goblins
Unexpectedly, the orb began to shake. It roared,

“I AM NOT THE ACTUAL ORB! LOOK AT YOUR MAP TO FIND THE REAL THING!!”

The orb shrunk and vanished in thin air. The three, who had plopped down to the dirt in confusion, got up and brushed off their clothes..

“Okay, let’s study that map. ” said Zoe.

Bo pulled the map out of his pocket and opened it. On the map, there was an illustration of a building. Under it were the words, ‘Orb house.’

“There!” shrieked Tommy. “Where are we now?”

He looked around and saw a mansion with flickering broken lanterns and spiderwebs all around it. A sleek black cat disappeared in the shadows. There were wails from the house every now and then.

“You guys wanna investigate it?” asked Zoe, “We might find something.”

Tommy and Bo nodded.

“Um, does anyone have a flashlight?” asked Bo.

“I do.” Zoe answered. She flicked on her small pink flashlight and pointed it directly at the door. “Let’s go.”

She walked slowly to the door and carefully opened it.

“BOO!” A skeleton shrieked.

“AAAH!” the spies screamed. They jumped back.

The creature laughed uncontrollably. Zoe grunted crossly.

“You ought to apologize about that!” Bo said.

Tommy shook his fist at the monster.

The skeleton soon became worn out of laughing and scrambled upstairs. The three continued on in the house, stepping on creaky boards and pushing away spiderwebs. A blue goblin tapped on Tommy’s shoulder.

“AAH!” he cried.

“Don’t worry,” said the goblin, “My name is Blingo, and I live here with my sisters and brother. I'm sorry about the skeleton upstairs. He invaded my house just a few days ago. He stole my family's Sword of Gold and threw it in the Well of Forever in our backyard. None of us could stop him. Now my family longs for the sword these days because it always gave us gold when we needed it. But we can't go in the well. It's very deep and impossible to get out of. So I'm looking for somebody to help me get it back. Will you? By the way, who are all of you?”

The spies stared at Blingo, wondering if they should trust him. Then Zoe said,

“I’m Zoe, and these are my friends Bo and Tommy.”

Bo said, “We’ll help you.”

Blingo grasped Tommy’s hand and led him to a big neat room with green and pink curtains at one window, and blue and orange curtains at the other. He pointed to a green goblin sleeping soundly in her bed.

“That’s Ginblo.” he whispered.

He pointed to a pink goblin. She was turning over in her sleep.

“That’s Niblog.”

Blingo pointed to a baby orange goblin sleeping at Ginblo's feet.

“He’s Ongbil.”

Tommy asked,

“Are your parents home?”

Blingo nodded, "Let me show you their room."

He led Zoe, Bo and Tommy to a master bedroom. It had purple and beige curtains along with a king sized bed.

“Um, are your parents awake?” asked Bo.

“Yes.” Blingo answered.

“Where are they?” asked Zoe.

“In the kitchen cooking up gruesomato stew.” Blingo answered.

“Do you have any pets?” the three asked all at once.

Blingo smiled.

“We have four!” he said. He took them to a big room and switched on the light. Inside was a green mare in a stable labeled, ‘Glinbo.’ A pink cat with goblin-like ears jumped on Zoe.

“Yowza!” she squealed.

“Oops.” Blingo chuckled, “You're scared of your own kind? What kind of cat are you?”

"Well, not a goblin cat, that's for sure," Zoe said a bit hotly.

Blingo ignored her and put the cat, which was named Niglob down and pointed to a blue cockatiel sleeping in its cage.

“That’s mine, his name is Boglin. But we all call him Bog.”

Splash!

Blingo turned around.

“Whoa!” he said. “Obling’s awake!” He

pointed to an orange goldfish in a tank.

"Well, as our tour of the house is over, let's go have some lunch."

They all trooped out of the room, then Blingo closed the door.

“Want some gruesomato stew?” he asked.

“Umm, well...uh, okay.” Tommy answered. “We’ll try it.”

Blingo stood in front of the kitchen. “Mom!” he asked. “May we have some stew?”

Mom responded, “What do you mean ‘we’? Are you with your sisters?"

Blingo glanced at the three, and said, “Um, no.”

Immediately a purple goblin emerged from the kitchen.

"Blingo!” she exclaimed, “Who are these strangers? I told you to go to your room and

try to think of ways that can get our sword back.”

Blingo replied, “Well, that is Zoe, that one’s Bo, and the other one is Tommy. They're helping me find the sword.”

Blingo’s mom sighed and said, “Well then, help yourself to some stew. You can wake up your sisters. And take a bath first, young man! Same with your sisters.”

Blingo walked into his room and woke up Ginblo and Niblog. All the goblin kids had their own bathrooms, their own computers, their own beds, everything! The spies were impressed. So all three goblins walked in their bathrooms and took baths. Ongbil, being a toddler, walked in his bathroom and climbed into an automatic jacuzzi, as he didn't know how to turn on the water himself. He even had an automatic Put-On-Clothes Machine!

They were soon done and Niblog dried her hair and tied it into a ponytail. She stared at the spies, then she walked over and asked,

“Who are you?”

The spies introduced themselves as Niblog listened with interest.

“Um, Niblog,” Zoe asked, “is it morning?”

Niblog stared at Zoe as if she was crazy. “Of course it is!” she replied.

* * *

"Let’s get some stew!” Niblog called, “It's my favorite!”

She scampered to the dining room. There was a pink decorated bowl with pink hearts on it set ready for her. There were other colored bowls for everybody else too. Zoe sat next to Niblog, Bo sat with Blingo, and, amusingly, Tommy sat with Ongbil. And, to the spies’ relief, the stew tasted fine.

“Thank you,” Zoe said thankfully to Blingo’s mom as she placed her bowl in the sink.

“No problem.” she answered.

“May we go out, Mom?” pleaded Ginblo.

“Alright, but take Ongbil with you.” replied Mom.

Ginblo glanced at Ongbil disgustedly. Zoe, Bo and Tommy knew how she felt. They had little siblings too, and always had to cooperate with them.

“Don’t worry, Niblog,” Zoe whispered softly to Niblog, “I know how to handle him. In fact, I have two at home. They’re twins.”

Niblog looked at her. “How d'ya handle ‘em, then?” she asked confusedly.

Zoe darted away and talked to Ongbil. Surprisingly, Ongbil grinned at Zoe. Zoe motioned for Niblog to come nearer. Zoe took Ongbil to his room and in no time he was sound asleep and snoring.

“See, now he’s sleeping.” Zoe said happily. Silently, Niblog closed the bedroom door.

“Now we can go out.” Blingo announced.

“We can look for the sword too,” Bo added.

Blingo looked at Bo, “Yes, that was the plan.”

So the six kids walked out.

“Where’s that Well of Forever?” Tommy asked.

“In the backyard.” Niblog said. She led them all to the backyard.

Tommy peered in the well, and unexpectedly he fell in!

"O MA GAWD, why in the world did they put a Well of Forever back here?! That is so dumb."

Tommy wanted to get out, but he suddenly saw in the damp dirt…a gleaming gold sword!

4: The Well

TOMMY!” everyone yelled into the well. But Tommy did not want get out now. He wanted to explore the well.

"Wait guys! Let me find the Sword of Gold!" he yelled back up.

He picked up the sword and slipped it into his pants pocket. A white snake tickled his foot with its forked tongue.

“Who are you, I would like to know?” it asked.

“What’s your name?” Tommy replied evenly.

“III ask the questionsss here.... but thattt dosssen'tt matterrr rightt noww. Myyy name isss Moonssstone,” the snake replied. “And, againn, whoo are yooou?”

”My name’s Tommy Mart.” he answered.

“Come here.” Moonstone commanded. She slithered away and led him to a small hole.

Tommy looked at the size of the hole, then shrunk himself until he was as small as a mouse.

He walked into the hole with Moonstone. When they were both inside, Moonstone asked,

“Whatt arrre yoou here forrr, Tommy?”

Tommy swallowed hard, “I’m here on a mission for AB.... uh, do you know him?”

Moonstone looked offended. “Offf courssse I know ‘imm!” she cried, “I knoww evvverrrybody arround the worrrld! Exsssept you. 'Cosss you come frrom Marsss. I don't knoww anyybodyyy frrom Marsss."

“Um, so what am I here for?” Tommy asked.

“Forrr a sssmall gifttt for falllling in the wellll.”

Why would I get a gift for falling in a well? Tommy thought.

Moonstone led Tommy to a room labeled ‘Jewelry Room’. Inside the room, Moonstone filled a bag with ten different gems. She handed the bag to Tommy.

“Take thisss home and dissstribute it to your sssiblingsss, friendsss and your friendsss’ sssiblingsss,”

she told him.

Tommy took the bag and nodded.

“Thanks,” he said.

He climbed out of the hole and grew to his right size. Now I have to figure out how to get out of this well, Tommy thought. He remembered he could fly. He blasted off, out of the well.

* * *

Meanwhile, Zoe, Bo, Ginblo, Niblog, and Blingo were peering down the Well.

“I hear something!” Blingo put his ear to the well, just to be smashed back as flying Tommy smashed his ear.

Zoe gasped. “Tommy!”

Blingo staggered back, taken by surprise. "Ouch," said Bo, wincing, "That had to hurt."

Tommy walked over. "Sorry, Blingo, you alright?"

"Would you call a half twisted neck alright?" Blingo said jokingly. "Yeah, I'm alright".

“Well then, let's carry on," Tommy said. "I have something for you. And by the way, since I got out, you should re-name the Well of 'Forever' to something else.”

He uncovered the gleaming gold sword. The three goblins gasped.

“Thanks! How did you find it?!” they said. “Let’s go in and show Mom!”

The kids sped inside.

“MOM!” they shouted.

Mom came over. “You have the sword?!” she gasped, “Who found it?”

Everybody looked at Tommy, who blushed.

“Tommy found it,” Niblog said.

“Thanks!” Mom said gratefully.

She slashed the sword through the air and suddenly, three bags of gold dropped to the ground.

“For you in return.” she said to Zoe, Bo, and Tommy.

“Uh, thank you very much,” said Bo, amazed by the sword's power. “Bye, we have to leave now. We've got something important to do.”

The goblins nodded.

“Bye!” they chorused.

The spies waved as they walked out.

“Now we can go to the orb house!” Tommy said.

Bo pulled out the map. "We have to go this way," he said, pointing to the left.

He walked left when he suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong, Bo?" asked Zoe, looking around quickly.

"Shh, " said Bo, "Come on, hide behind this bush."

He pushed Tommy and Zoe behind a nearby bush. He, too, hid and watched. Bo saw an odd looking creature with red skin and lots of curly green hair. He was wearing a white suit with a laser gun tucked into the purple belt. He wore safety goggles, yellow gloves, and brown boots. Bo gulped.

"Let's follow him!" whispered Zoe. "Maybe he's hiding the orb!"

5: Zarog

Zoe, Bo, and Tommy quietly crawled out of the bush and followed the guy.
"Maybe we should use our gadgets," Tommy suggested.
"Let's use them if we lose track of this guy. Right now we have him in sight," said Bo.
They followed the guy into a dark and dirty laboratory, not making a sound. The guy suddenly stopped and opened a closet. Zoe, Bo and Tommy hid and watched. Now they were really spying!
The guy pulled a ladder out of the closet and said to himself, "I've heard this orb is really valuable. I'm going to get it and keep it in my souvenir shelf. Then when my servant Skelewag comes to me with the Sword of Gold, I'll be really rich!!!"
He cackled evilly. "I'll just go climb that tree now and get the orb."
He walked out of the lab, not knowing that he was being watched. The three angry spies followed him out to the orb tree. As they were following the guy, Tommy noticed that the back of one of his boots said, 'ZAROG DABGOB.'
That must be his name, he thought. Suddenly Bo jumped up and yelled,
"You! Stop! The orb is not yours!"
Zarog whirled around and grinned. Zoe saw that he had lost some teeth. "So I have company, huh?" Zarog yelled. "Well that will soon be stopped!"
Zarog shot beams of yellow light with his hands at Bo, then Zoe, then Tommy. They were taken aback as they flew through the air and hit the wall with a thud. Zarog smiled and ran off to the orb tree. Tommy frantically pulled himself up and Used all the energy he had to fly to the topmost of the orb tree. He finally reached the top and grabbed the orb. It was as heavy as a bowling ball!
Wow, the real orb is really heavy! No wonder the first one wasn't the real thing!
Tommy thought.
He flew to Zoe and Bo and gave them the orb to hold, while he kept Zarog busy.
"Can't beat me, Zarog!" Tommy yelled.
He shot a big green beam at Zarog, who fell in a nearby pond. Zarog got angry and ran to Zoe and Bo, who were trying to protect the orb. He snatched it from them, then ran back to his dark and dirty lab.
"Ugh, we lost it!" Zoe and Bo grumbled to themselves.
"C'mon, let's get it back quick!" Tommy said.
They ran back to the lab as fast as they could and saw Zarog putting the orb in a glass case and fastening it with a gold latch. Then he went to another room and put it on his souvenir shelf.
"There!" he said, rubbing his hands together in glee. "I'mma gonna call Skelewag now."
Zoe rolled her eyes. He doesn't even know how to talk properly. she thought.
"Who's Skelewag?" Tommy whispered.
"The skeleton at Blingo's house." Zoe whispered back.
"Oh."
"Skelewag's gonna be in big trouble when he says he doesn't have the sword."
"Yeah. Serves 'im right."
"Guys!" Bo whispered in annoyance, "Focus! We have to get the orb!"
"Yeah, gadget time!" Tommy whispered, "Lemme use power to see if there's any security systems here. You guys use your gadgets to see where Zarog's at."
Bo showed Zoe how to use the gadget, then they both tracked Zarog down.
"He's not far from here. Better be careful. He's real dangerous."
Tommy came back, trying to hold his laughter.
"Hey, what's so funny?" Bo asked.
"Well, first of all," Tommy began, snickering, "there are NO security systems here, which tells me Zarog is 100% dumb, and, second, I heard him talking to Skelewag on the telephone. The conversation was so funny, I had to laugh. Luckily Zarog was yelling too loudly to hear me."
"Well, what'd Zarog say?" Bo asked.
"Ok. Zarog said, 'Hey, Skel, got the Sword?' Then Skelewag said, 'Um, no sir, the goblins have it back, but I can give you my gold bed in exchange.' Zarog yelled into the phone, 'WHAT?! Haven't got it?! Better get it back, or I'll bring you here and pull both of your ears!' Skelewag said,'But sir, I don't have any ears. I'm a skeleton! And for some reason I can hear you. Weird, huh?' Zarog got really mad, roared into the phone, and slammed the phone down to the receiver. Then after that I think he went to the bathroom." Tommy finished his long speech and took a deep breath, while the whole time Zoe and Bo were laughing uncontrollably.
"Haha! Okay, now we just have to go to the (haha!) souvenir room, and (haha!) get the orb out, go back to AB, and then (haha!) our mission is (haha!) done!" Bo said, snickering.
"Let's do it!" said Zoe.
"What?" asked Tommy, "I haven't got ears! Say again?"
He laughed, and very soon Zoe and Bo were laughing too.
"Okay, stop laughing. We gotta go to the souvenir room, grab the orb and get outta here. Got it, guys?" Bo said.
"Yes! But you're quite bossy."
"Let's do it!"
Bo walked into the orb room, followed by Zoe and Tommy.
"I'm wondering, should we break the glass and get the orb out, or just bring the whole glass box to AB?" Zoe said.
"I think we should bring the box to AB." Bo said matter-of-factly.
"Yeah. Can I hold the box?" said Tommy.
"Sure," Zoe said.
Tommy grasped the orb box tightly.
"Let's go now, before Zarog catches us, quick!" he said.
Zoe, Bo, and Tommy sped out of the lab (a.k.a the Orb House) when suddenly, they felt themselves being pulled back.
"Uh oh. What's happening?" Tommy asked.
"Maybe the wind suddenly got strong!" Zoe replied.
Bo looked behind him. "It's not that, it's Zarog!" he screamed.
Zarog was pulling the spies back with some kind of gadget. When all the spies were in the lab, Zarog snatched the orb from Tommy, put it on a table, and quickly tied Zoe, Bo, and Tommy up very tightly.
"Serves you right for stealin' my orb," Zarog said angrily, "This was never any of your business anyway. I've worked HARD to get this orb. Next time don't mess with me!" And with that he walked out, taking the orb with him.

And so Zoe, Bo, and Tommy were tied tightly to the legs of a table. They all tried desperately to
cut the rope in some way, but the rope was very strong.
Tommy tried using alien power. But the rope was power-proof.
Zoe tried cutting the rope with her claws. But the rope was too tough.
And Bo tried leaning down to bite the rope. But he couldn't reach.
"Ugh! We've failed! Now we'll be stuck here forever and be Zarog's slaves!" Zoe moaned.
Suddenly in from the door burst Ginblo, Niblog and Blingo! The spies were scared but surprised.
"Hey! How'd you guys get in?" they all asked at once.
"Shush. He might hear!" Niblog hissed. She quickly untied them all.
"Hide!" said Ginblo.
"WHAT'S GOING ON IN THERE?!" yelled Zarog from his room, "WHATEVER'S GOING ON, I'M COMING. THEN YOU'LL ALL BE IN TROUBLE!" Then Zarog zoomed in.
"Stay here guys. We'll take care of him!" Blingo said. He was armed with a bow and arrow. Niblog had an axe strapped to her back. And Ginblo had a sword and sheath. Zoe gasped. Were they really going to kill Zarog? All he really needed was just some time in jail!
"So you think you can send over your little skeleton servant over to our house for the sword, huh?" Blingo yelled at Zarog.
"Of course," Zarog roared, "and you three little goblins can't defeat the one and only amazing ZAROG DABGOB!!!"
He's so vain, thought Zoe.
Blingo loaded an arrow. Niblog raised her axe. Ginblo readied with her sword.
"Ah, what lame weapons. You can't beat my super laser gun!" Zarog said and pulled his laser gun out of his belt.
Ginblo and Niblog rushed at him. Blingo stayed back and aimed his arrow. Niblog, with her axe, smashed her axe down on Zarog's gun and broke it. Blingo shot his arrow at Zarog's hand and it went right through. Blood spurted everywhere. Zarog screamed in pain. Ginblo ran and aimed her sword at Zarog's neck and...

6: Success!
SPLAT!

Everyone closed their eyes as Ginblo cut off Zarog's head. His head flew off right in the nearest trash can!
Ginblo sighed happily.
"Hey, guys. Open your eyes now! It's okay." Ginblo said, laughing. Everyone slowly opened their eyes, but Blingo remained with his eyes shut. He also had his ears covered.

"Oh my gosh. Where's his head?!" Zoe asked, her huge blue eyes getting bigger by the second.
"Score, right in the trash can!" Ginblo answered.
"Oh man, Ginblo, surely you didn't put it in the trash can?" Niblog said.
"Of course not! Yuck."
"All right, now let's get the orb and go back to your house!" Bo said to Blingo.
"Eh? Is it all over yet?" Blingo said, opening his eyes and uncovering his ears. He suddenly saw Zarog's headless body and screamed like a girl.
"Aiieeee!"
"Ah, stop it, Blingo. You're so embarrassing." Niblog said and rolled her eyes.
"I'm gonna go get the orb, ok?" Zoe said and went to the souvenir room.
"Zoe, WAIT!!!" Tommy screamed. He ran and grabbed her by the shoulders.
Zoe skidded to a stop. "Why?"
"Zoe, I just figured out that there is a new security system put in that room. If you go in that room, you'll find yourself in jail!" Tommy said all in one breath.
"Oh man. Then what do we do?" Zoe said, "We've been trying to get this orb the whole time yet there's been so many interruptions. "
Suddenly there was a THUD! on the ceiling.
"Uh oh. That's Skelewag!" Blingo said, "Remember, sisters? We tied him up and before we left, he said that wasn't enough. He said he would make us pay! Then Mom and Dad hid the sword somewhere and told us to come help you guys." Blingo pointed to Bo.
"Wow. We'd better hide!" Bo said.
"But the orb!" Zoe said, panicking.
"Later! We'll find it soon. "
All the kids hid. Zoe and Niblog hid in the attic. Blingo, Tommy and Bo hid under a table with a table cloth in which Tommy made a seeing hole in. And Ginblo hid by herself behind the door, in a box with a peephole. Then all the kids watched.
There was a sudden CRACK, and an axe made its way through the ceiling. It cut a perfect circle out of the ceiling. Then Skelewag and another skeleton friend jumped in. Skelewag landed unknowingly on Zarog's body.
"C'mon, c'mon, where's that orb?" Skelewag asked. Just then his fellow skeleton screamed.
"Aaah! Skel, what are you standing on?" Skelewag's friend pointed to the headless body of Zarog. Skelewag looked down and said, "Huh? Somebody killed me master!!! This is terrible."
His friend looked at him oddly. "But Skel, since he's dead, we won't have to do anymore missions for him."
"You have a point. Never mind. Let's just stay in here and relax. We can go to Zarog's kitchen and get some snacks to eat, and then go to the TV room. And in case anyone unexpected comes in, I'll put a security system right in here. Then they'll see who's boss!"
Zoe's eyes were getting bigger by the second. Niblog's heart was thumping like a horse's hooves beating the ground. Ginblo was trying to stop herself from popping out of her box like a jack-in-the-box. And Blingo, Tommy and Bo were all trying to stop themselves from screaming.
"Hey, what's in that box?" asked Skelewag's friend looking primly at the box, "Let's go look! Maybe there's FOOD in there!"
He went over to the box and looked in. Skelewag was examining something else and suddenly he heard a scream!
"AAAAAAHHHH!!!!"
"What in the world?!" Skelewag shrieked. He whirled around and saw bones all over the ground.
His friend was dead (actually his friend was already dead (he's a skeleton)). He frantically looked around to see who did it, but he saw no-one.
"W-w-who's there?" he stammered.
No-one answered. He ran screaming out of the room and made the security system go off. He was in jail!! Zoe, Bo, Tommy, Ginblo, Blingo, and Niblog popped out of their hiding places yelling in glee, and ran over to the room that held the orb box. They thumped each other on the back and cheered as they grabbed the orb box.
Then suddenly they heard a crash.
"Ugh, not another distraction!" said Zoe annoyedly.
It was the headless body of Zarog!! But never mind it, it just fell over. Anyway back to the story.
"Um, that was weird, dumbly narrarator." said Bo.
Sorry, go on.
Tommy lifted the lid.
"OH MA GAWD! THE ORB ISN'T THERE ANYMORREEE!!!!!" screamed Tommy.
Then a voice came floating through the air.
"You have succeded in your mission. The orb has been returned to AB. No need to panic. Go back to your plane."

Zoe, Bo and Tommy looked at each other in glee. "WE DID IT, WE DID IT, WE DID IT! YAAAAY!" they cheered. Ginblo, Niblog and Blingo clapped.
"Well, I guess we have to go now..." said Zoe.
"Wait!" said Tommy and took the jewel bag out of his pocket, "Moonstone, a snake in the Well of Forever, gave this to me. She told me to give it to all my friends and their siblings. "
Tommy gave an emerald to Ginblo, a garnet to Niblog, a sapphire to Blingo, a peridot to Bo, an opal to Zoe and a topaz for himself. He gave a yellow topaz to Ginblo so she could keep it for Ongbil. Tommy kept the rest for Tracy and Za and Zi and Bob.
"Bye guys. Maybe we'll see you another day. " said Zoe.
"We gotta go to our plane!" shrieked Bo.
"Bye!" called the goblins.
The spies waved as they ran all the way to the Land of Doom airport. They took their flight and were soon on their way back to Animal Land. Zoe looked out of the window again (Tommy and Bo wondered why she always got the window seat) and saw the three goblins waving from below. She waved back.

"Well, guys, you sure did good on your mission." said Adventure Bear as he handed Zoe, Bo and Tommy each a shining gold medal. But they all rejected.
"No thanks, Adventure Bear, we already have gold from our mission." said Bo.
"You do?" asked AB, "Never mind, just take these medals."

So Zoe, Bo, and Tommy took the medals without a word and left.
“I guess we didn’t have to use our gadgets after all.” Tommy said. “Why did we even think they were the coolest gadgets ever?”
Bo shrugged and a wide grin appeared on his face.
Zoe checked her watch. It was just 6 o' clock!
"Phew, we finished before nightfall. Even though that’s kind of cheatsome because of time difference." said Zoe. "By the way, does anyone want to come to my house for ice cream?"
"WEEE DOOO!" yelled Tommy and Bo and raced Zoe to her house. It had been a long day!
